Aleksa Milosavljevic received his Ph.D. in 2024 in the group of Prof. Alison J. Frontier at the University of Rochester. During his doctoral work, he investigated nitrogen-interrupted halo-Nazarov cascades and completed a total synthesis of the natural product tubingensin A.

As a senior scientist at Rafias, he is currently working on the synthesis of first-in-class small-molecule activators of Nr4a1 in collaboration with Prof. Dirk Trauner.
